Kim Victoria Cattrall is an English-Canadian actor born on August 21st 1956. Her best known part was Samantha Jones, in the HBO Series Sex and the City. She reprised the lead role in the Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Also, she is known for her roles as a leading actress in 1980s movies Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. The film also enjoyed commercial and critical successes. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she worked as a fashion model before beginning her acting career. In the end, she was crowned Miss Sweden contest. In the US her first appearance was in movies with minor parts. In the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as the role of a Venusian. Following her appearance on screen in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of Most Promising Youngcomer.
